VISITORS TO SRI LANKA BRANCH


A team of Indian Karateka visited Sri Lanka on 26th - 31st August 2007 to train Kyudokan Karate-do under Indishe Senanayake Sensei (Sri Lanka Representative of Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Kyudokan Karate-do Federation).

Shihan Krishna Gopal from Holland (Founder of Tai Jutsu Kurodaiya Ryu) visited Kyudokan Sri Lanka Hombu Dojo on on 14th of May 2006 with his Sri Lanka Representative Sensei S. Medonza.

A team of Indian Karateka visited Sri Lanka on 5th May 2006 to participate at a two day training seminar in Shorin-Ryu Kyudokan Karate, conducted by Indishe Senanayake Sensei (Sri Lanka Representative of Okinawa Shorin-Ryu Kyudokan Karate-do Federation). The seminar was followed by a Friendship Karate tournament among Indian & Sri Lankan children. Kyudokan Indian Representative Arun Bodake Sensei received personal training from Indishe Sensei for four days.

Miss. Veronika Cernikova from Ostrava Czech Republic visited Kyudokan Sri Lanka Hombu Dojo on 18 December 2005 with Mr. Paul and Mr. Richard from Czech Republic. Veronika is a long time friend of Indishe Sensei and a member of the Ostrava Jujitsu Club. Also, she helps us financially, in Kyudokan Tsunami Aid Project through her school. Richard San is a member of Aikibudo in Czech Republic.

Sensei P. Ratnapala (Indian representative of Shorin-Ryu Seibukan Karate-do) visited Kyudokan Sri Lanka Hombu Dojo on 02nd November 2005 with three Karate-do practitioners from India.

Sensei K.V. Manoharan (Indian representative of Uechi Ryu Kenyukai Karate do), Sensei P.P. Hemanth Kumar (Indian Representative of Gohakukai Karate do), Sensei Prabhakaran Namath (Indian Representative of KWF) visited Kyudokan Sri Lanka Hombu Dojo on March 2005 with 9 Karate-do practitioners from India.

Tunisian Karate Expert and the founder of Bushite Ryu style Shihan Sakhria Mourad visited Sri Lanka on October 2004 to conduct two weeks seminar series in Sri Lanka organized by Shorin Ryu Kyudokan Karate-do sri Lanka.

Tunisian Karate Master Shihan Sakhria Mourad(7th dan)- Founder of Bushite Ryu, visited Sri Lanka on October 2004 to conduct a series of seminars in Sri Lanka.
